And when I say its emotionality, what I’m really referring to is its wave context. The thing that makes the emotional motor so powerful is its wave motion. That wave motion, by the way, is something that originates in the 6th gate. That is, the various waves that are there, the crash wave of the abstract process, the planing wave of the individual process, the ratcheting wave of tribal process, they’re all rooted in the 6th gate. That’s where they come from. The Wave Motion The Wave Motion: And when I say its emotionality, what I’m really referring to is its wave context. That’s where they come from. What we’re dealing with is that the Solar Plexus system is made up of various components, the gates as we refer to them. But each of these gates has a different relationship to the layers that are there in the Solar Plexus. We have a surface layer of the Solar Plexus that is really just about the motor. In other words, it’s the basic motor function, one of our four motors that are here in Human Design, that the wave is the motor function itself; nothing more, nothing less. This is the motor. And of course, it’s the motor that’s so distorting. And because human beings give reasons to chemistry, that motor that operates in the wave leads to the way in which human beings, are going to project on the way in which they look at the world, depending on where they are in their particular wave, give a reason to it, get attached to it and then go the way that most emotional beings go. They go the path of suffering, the suffering that even when they're going up they realize, based on experience, that they will have to go down and slowly but surely even the going up loses its magic; the motor becomes something that is so deeply, potentially deeply distorting in the life. After all, in evolutionary terms the couple of hundred years, or so since 1781 doesn’t mean a hell of a lot. This is, in evolutionary terms, nothing. So, this whole interregnum that we’ve been going through has really been, this developmentally interregnum to get us to this place and prepare us for it, this long evolutionary movement to get there. It’s why Design came when it came, to be able to lay the foundation for what is beyond this. A Developmental Interregnum After all, in evolutionary terms the couple of hundred years, or so since 1781 doesn’t mean a hell of a lot. This is, in evolutionary terms, nothing. So, this whole interregnum that we’ve been going through has really been, this developmentally interregnum to get us to this place and prepare us for it, this long evolutionary movement to get there. It’s why Design came when it came, to be able to lay the foundation for what is beyond this. Because this is when all the tools we have and all the ways we have of understanding in Human Design, from Variable down to Tones and Base orientations, all of these things that are part of the knowledge now can fully be applied, and can be taken full advantage of. And that we will get to see and we’ll get to experience, in those children of the future a form of awareness, that is really so deeply unusual, something that 10 years ago, 20 years ago would be nothing more than science fiction, and it's not. It's part of our potential to be able to be cognitive in ways that are yet not understood by the mind. It’s there within us. It’s there within our form; it’s part of what our future will be. So these changes that occur when you look at the world around you, And we'll talk about it relative to our civilization, Our politics of the time, spirituality fundamentalism, All this can be there, all this until the closing of this particular circle, All this, and that you can see in the framework of this cycle from 1615 until now, Because the very thing that made it all possible to come out is that we are already living this plan, And put it relative to each other with each breath with each knot. So, the first thing to see is that we have two types of locks, In other words we have a lock which is a lock that comes from the four gates of the tool, And we have a lock that comes from the four gates of the Sphinx, And one of the things you can see is that when the round closes, They are locked into each other in other words, They literally lock into each other they fold and that's really the end. Okay and that's the end of a round. You know it's the closure of the whole process. So, everything is moving in the direction of this locking phenomenon, So we have two sets of locks and then we have the keys, And the keys represent the actual position of the withdrawal of equality, Then it's free seven points around the wheel, free seven points. In other words, These are going to be seven points, Because they're going to be eight hexagrams apart. In other words, Same dynamics but the dynamic shift that equality has changed. So, for example, it's 25/46, you know, it's, these vessel gates, You can see here with 37 49 16 this is their exact connection to the structure, And when you move in together, You will see that relative to the gates of the Sphinx the same is true. In other words, These eight points are all made up of eight hexagrams, It's just a shift in equality (equinox)." Ra Uru Hu.

Remember, when we get to 2027 there is not going to be a 40/37, in the background frequency at all. It’s not going to be there. We’re not going to have this background support, that we are all in this bargain together. You see it all the time on Facebook, the ‘we are one,’ the one-ness of everything. We’re all one. Yeah, we’re all one; you wait and see what happens when we get to 2027, you’ll discover that we’re not one. This was the background frequency. We get to 2027. A Change in the Background Frequency of the Bargain Remember, when we get to 2027 there is not going to be a 40/37, in the background frequency at all. It’s not going to be there. We’re not going to have this background support, that we are all in this bargain together. You see it all the time on Facebook, the ‘we are one,’ the one-ness of everything. We’re all one. Yeah, we’re all one; you wait and see what happens when we get to 2027, you’ll discover that we’re not one. This was the background frequency. We get to 2027, 2027 says, “hey, excuse me; you’re on your own.” That’s what the Sleeping Phoenix is, three individual gates and a 59th gate that, hardly is going to carry much tribal quality. There is this incredible movement, day by day, this 19/49 system is slowly deteriorating. It just is. It’s so interesting that it’s the channel of Synthesis. When we entered into the 1st line theme in 1960, we basically entered into the window of opportunity, between then and 2027 to get to the Inner Truth one of the keys in the lock-and-key system of this cycle. Because the synthesis is going to break down, the way in which our societies are interwoven at all of these various levels, that slowly is going to come to an end. Ra Uru Hu.

In January of 1987 I had the experience, that would reveal to me the basics of Human Design. And aside from the fact that it was a rather bizarre experience, and a rather painful one as well as one that, was obviously fascinating. When you come out of such an experience, and it was very intensive. I didn’t eat, I didn’t drink, I was in a very peculiar state – my first response was depression. I was living wild and I didn’t have anything. I hadn’t seen money in my hand in nearly four years. Planetary Conditioning (Edinburgh, 20th February 2003) In January of 1987 I had the experience, that would reveal to me the basics of Human Design. And aside from the fact that it was a rather bizarre experience, and a rather painful one as well as one that, was obviously fascinating. When you come out of such an experience, and it was very intensive, it lasted eight days, I didn’t eat, I didn’t drink, I was in a very peculiar state – my first response was depression. I was living wild and I didn’t have anything. I hadn’t seen money in my hand in nearly four years, hadn’t talked to a human being in over two years, and I was sitting under a fig tree and I was thinking about the madness of what I had just experienced. And I have a black sense of humor and I had this funny feeling. that this was not something that I was ever going to tell anyone about. The idea that I would stand up – as I have done for 15 years, and gone through the process of saying to people “A Voice told me how everything works...”, that is a perfect state of madness. What disturbed me was that it seemed logical. After all, I was simply shown the matrix. I was shown the configuration. I can remember the experience of drawing, the Bodygraph for the first time and putting, the numbers in place and all of these things, under instruction was very bizarre. The nature of that Bodygraph and thinking about it, I thought, well, I didn’t have anything else to do. I might as well take a look and see myself. And that was quite a process for me. The “ruina” where I had the experience, the man who lived there was an English poet. And he dabbled in all kinds of things. He had been a personal assistant to Krishnamurti for many years. He was fluent in Sanskrit. Very strange man. And he had many books in his ruina and some of the books were astrological. And I knew very little about astrology. It was only a few years before that I found out that I was an Aries; I had no idea about any of it. And so I went through this laborious process - and it was inaccurate, by the way - of trying to figure out what my design was; it wasn’t like there was a computer program and all that stuff. And I was not familiar with all that. When I finally got to see my design, I kept on thinking about how static it was; it was just this fixed blueprint. And I had yet to have the time and experience to be able, to recognize what that blueprint was saying to me; I had no idea what it was really saying to me. I had a very rudimentary understanding of what I was looking at. And the only thing I could think of was well I'm really going to, understand how this works unless I could see this thing in motion. How does this very static, 2-dimensional graphic become alive? And it was obvious to me that if all of this, in fact, was based on programming that we receive from planetary objects – and I was told in my experience that function through the agency of neutrinos with mass, which science would ultimately. prove was correct – then the only way that I could see my life was in the flow. To see my life in time, as it moved moment by moment. And by being able to grasp that, or chart that, to be able to find out whether any of this was anything more, than sheer madness. You cannot have an experience like that, and assume that it’s correct or true. It’s madness, after all. I was as crazy as they come. People were terrified of me. I was really wild. I had no idea at that point whether any of this was anything more, than some kind of mad, brain breakdown of some kind. Some weird form of schizophrenia or whatever. Being smart is a handicap when you have a mystical experience! And being as rational as I am really a problem. when you have a mystical experience, because your brain’s in there saying ‘that was pure. schizophrenia’. Had it not been for the logic of Human Design, I never would have told anybody anything. It would have been my private moment of madness, and I would have gone about my business of staying wild and enjoying it. Because that’s my design. Ra Uru Hu.

so lets start. It began in 1615. And it started with the 37th gate as the equinox gate. And you can see that the lock is gate 25. The 37th gate is the gate of the family. This is the gate of the need of God. Not just the need for God, But the need to build temples to God, It's the need for secure family ties, This is the need for moral law, This is the need for those who will work for the benefit of the community, And we find that in the complementary 40th Gate. Materialism & Mating so lets start. It began in 1615. And it started with the 37th gate as the equinox gate. And you can see that the lock is gate 25. The 37th gate is the gate of the family. This is the gate of the need of God. Not just the need for God, But the need to build temples to God, It's the need for secure family ties, This is the need for moral law, This is the need for those who will work for the benefit of the community, And we find that in the complementary 40th Gate. In other words, we live in an era since 1615, Where the most dynamic issue was community, And not just a community in this sense is a primitive tribal community, But this is the development of the tribal community, Who goes from being you know a tribal ruler, To a city-state, to a nation-state, to national institutions, In other words the whole structure of the community, Everything is built into this work from 1615, The plan demanded that humanity would have to work harder and harder, Just to be able to maintain the structure they were designed to build. There has never been such an emphasis on materialism, And it's not our fault that it's not that there are good and bad guys in the materialism business, That Pope John Paul, who collects dog shit, is better than Bill Gates who will leave a million, It's not about that, It's about understanding that we're all in the yin and yang of it, And of what spectrum is we all, We were caught in the material wheel and did not think it was going to be a great relief when it disappeared, because it is not. But still, that's what the 40/37 brought us. Now that you think of the thirty-seventh gate as a key, Think of the lock that opens this deep need, Because he needed the gate of the thirty-seventh, This deep need for community infrastructure has become our spirit, And the same spirit through the twenty-fifth gate, the twenty-fifth gate, It is the gate of the priest and the priestess. You know it's the blood gate, it's the gate of the sacrament, And so much of what we've seen in the last four centuries, Is that this whole search has linked us deep, deep, to old tribal myths. We have never lived in a more religious time, ever, I mean, ever, I mean it's one of the things that scares me so much, I mean, I'm not religious, you know, I mean I'm talking about religion. I'm not talking about spirituality. I'm not talking about mysticism. I'm not talking about magic. I'm talking about institutions. It's like a home movie with the Pope. What film. This stinking old institution. Thousands of years, you know, and it's this institution that's going down. You see the moment we move away from a flowing imprint, Through every person on earth, That you can not escape that we lock ourselves into this tribal configuration, When it comes out the window all these institutions will start to crumble, They will not be sustainable. It's not going to be us even wanting. I'm going to think about it. We are not naturally built as human beings to get along with each other so well. I mean after all institutions are artificial ways of maintaining peace, I mean that's what they're doing. It's a way to control the killer monkeys, in our cruelty. See, I have, It's very hard to find a way to impress myself, Not of what it is to be human, And see the ugliness, and the pain, that such a period has brought so much. The very necessity for reproduction, Create so many people, He's not about the excuses people come up with that he has to do with poverty, And they need more children, Either they have no contraception, or they do not know it, If they do not know it, it is not true. We live in an age where reproduction is an issue that is sucked through everyone. The tribe cannot survive without it. Power to the people. Well, you need the people, And the 40/37 demands more and more and more and more of them, More and more workers to build the temples, To keep the temples kneel in the temples. I mean, you know this is one of the jokes, The more people you get in the bureaucracy. You know it's just going on and on, but this is our age. Any person carrying the 25th gate. I carried the 25th gate. You know I'm a lock that allows this key. I mean, I'm responsible for maintaining this issue of materialism, Like everyone else even more in some cases, And you know you're paying a lot of money for me and all that stuff. I'm not poor, all that stuff. We live in an age of materialism and it is coming to an end. Good thing, man, that's going to be in 2027, You know, because I can hang my shingles, You know and just kind of retire, watch, watch the wheel spin, And that we see within the whole nature of materialism 40/37, That one of the things in the tribe is that they are always the ones who are not allowed to come to the table, And we live in a world where so much is forbidden to come to the table, Then we think there are villains and we look to blame. You know it's their fault, it's your fault you know, Let's change the political system, Let's change the leadership, Let's change the spirit of humanity. You can not do it. It's like someone tells you, You need to change, You know, slapping them for saying that. What the hell are they talking about, No one changes. We are what we are. That's what it's going to be, Whatever it's going to be, And garlic raging against the wind, Not going to stop this curtain from falling, Nothing, nothing. When looking at the 40th gate, The 40th gate is the opposition to the 37th gate, And the 40th gate is connected to 46, And remember that the 46th gate. Gate 46 is over the whole body, and it is the body like the temple. This is the place and this whole body is the temple that one of the things to see on the 40th Gate, The 40th gate is a gate of denial. It's a gate of God's denial, It's a gate of denial of the value of friendship relationships, Of all these things and yet, Of course when it's tied to gate 37, You get this whole community structure. But think about the connection to the 46th gate, Which is on the body, And one of the things to understand is that the body deteriorates at a very fast rate, And one of the first things that came with this cycle was what we call medicine. When we did a concrete and base and chain look, You know I talked about this phenomenon of you know that integration makes things happen, You know once you have two things, And you bring them closer together after having a quantum effect, And that the quantum is the hole that is larger than the sum of its parts, And one of the things to see about the nature of the mutation, Remember that when we entered the cycle in 1615, We were already in the process of opening up to the mutation. In 1781 we had the appearance of the ninth in the center, You know this is the beginning of the mutation, Leading through the realization of this transition that is going to take place after 2027, And this is also one of the things that should be seen about us as human beings, is that since 1781, We no longer had at the deepest level of our genetic imprint a future ahead of us, And there was a slow deterioration in the immune system and when you think about it holistically, Think of it this way, In 1781 when our body temperatures began to rise, We began to pollute the environment in a way that was never done. ​Everything related to any program, The embodiment, the incarnation deals with consciousness, in form, And everything related to consciousness, In the form is on the consciousness of the witness, In order for the totality in this sense to be correct, All the different possibilities of form must be consciously experienced, And that you see in all this movement towards details and skills, And all within the structure of the tribe, Remember everything within this structure of the community. It's going to end. You will not have institutions that say ah, These poor babies in this country, On this river get this disease, Let's go send things right away, Humanitarianism, It's part of this age it's not a natural quality of humanity, I mean it's, such a joke. We tend to see ourselves, In the same way that when I meet someone, I know they are not themselves, You know I can always tell you, Can always tell you, Can tell people they are homogeneous, They are not unique, And you know it right away, And you feel it right away, And you know that when they talk to you, That they never say what is really unique, And you know I learned it when I was the first teacher, Not a wonderful experience here in Ibiza, That you know I taught at a local rural student school here in '83 and '84, And I taught what would turn out as children of my friends, And there were moments when each of these children would quote his parents directly. You know I mean they would say something like that, That you know exactly what kind of parent he was, and that the way the parent told them that, And I suppose that everything is that everything is their responsibility, They do not recognize that they are helpless, They can not after all it would be too scary, Because they do not understand it, They do not understand what this means, You know I had this funny thing with no choice, You know I tell people all the time, Look no choice, And they'm really upset, You know that everyone thinks, because they live in an illusion, That elections are everywhere, And I went to school to pay the commissions for my children, And the secretary was very sweet, told me you have lovely children, And she told me you did a very good job, And at first I meant to say there is no choice, But I thought it would upset her, So I said I'm just lucky. I found out to say I'm just lucky, It's even more provocative than saying no choice, And you know that it's basically the same thing. I mean, I love Lao Tzu, He was one of the few thinkers from the past I was able to take into my body, And it just resonates cleanly. It is such arrogance to assume that you can interfere with the universe, at any level. I mean it's amazing arrogance, And one of the things I enjoy about dropping this screen, Is that this arrogance is going to take a kick, Because all the pretension about what we think we are, Is all to be supported by these institutions, And all this is supported by these mechanisms, Non-personal it's just a spinning wheel, And that we express the plan. You know we're not humanitarian. it's a lie. That does not mean we are incapable of humanitarianism. we, But even that is not a choice, It's a serendipity of a moment. Ra Uru Hu.

And what we know in Human Design is that there is no truth in the now. That is, no truth in the now for the emotional being. So, the motor function is very powerful. It takes away the existential potential for truth. There are many things that it gets in the way of, though there’s something else that’s going on. Beneath the level of the motor function there is something really profound at work within the Solar Plexus, what modern science has now been discovering for the last 10 years. Solar Plexus Awareness Solar Plexus Awareness: And what we know in Human Design is that there is no truth in the now. That is, no truth in the now for the emotional being. So, the motor function is very powerful. It takes away the existential potential for truth. There are many things that it gets in the way of, though there’s something else that’s going on. Beneath the level of the motor function there is something really profound at work within the Solar Plexus, what modern science has now been discovering for the last 10 years; that is, the density of neural activity that is in our Solar Plexus, a level of neural activity that, by the way, far exceeds the neural activity we find in our brain system. Most of that is simply not understood. That is, not understood allopathically why that’s there. Scientists are just in awe that they’re finding all of this beneath the surface. And what we know is there is that the Solar Plexus Center, like its symmetrical components, is one of the awareness centers; in fact, it is here to complete the process. Now we get to see this at the substructure level in Human Design. That when we get down to the tonal level and Tone represents our cognitive architecture, that Tone is rooted in these three cognitive binaries. And these three cognitive binaries, the splenic system, our original awareness system, the Ajna Center in its relationship with the Head Center, what we call the mental plane and mental awareness or its potential, and here the potential for Solar Plexus awareness. And Solar Plexus awareness is basically what is understood in Variable work as Right awareness. In other words, it’s very different; it's very different from the way in which cognition operates from the mental plane, and again even more different than the way in which cognition operates at the splenic level. It is one of the things that you understand if you’re a splenic person and you realize that the awareness that your Spleen comes to in the moment is not translatable to the mind. It isn’t. In the sense that the mind is not in any way capable of understanding, other than through theoretical postulations, why the Spleen is saying yes or no to anything. It is an awareness that operates within its own specific parameters. The same thing is true for the mind. And the same thing is going to be true here, because what we're dealing with in terms of Solar Plexus awareness is that we’re not dealing with the mental way in which we have achieved cognition. The mind is a measuring machine and the way in which that measurement, is something that we can selfreflectively look at coming out of the Solar Plexus system, is an awareness that is much more sensitive. It is an awareness that is rooted in being able to cognitively interpret the environment in a very different way — interpret the auric field, interpret the electromagnetic field, and being able to interpret things through the tactile. There are all kinds of levels in which information is going to be garnered from Solar Plexus awareness that is not going to be understood. That is, in the spontaneous sense, the mind will have no more access to what the emotional awareness is picking up than it does to what the Spleen is. It will not. As a matter of fact, if we’re living in a world that’s homogenized and everybody is stuck up here and living their life through their minds, and directing their lives through their minds, there isn’t going to be any access to that at all, anymore than—it’s the old joke about the not-self who is splenic, you visit them in the hospital and the first thing they say, “Oh, I just knew it.” So, we’re going to be living with a real change in the way in which information is being taken in. Again, those beings who are going to be so sensitive at this level, if they’re not prepared for this, if they don't understand the way in which this works, that it’s going to present as many problems as it’s going to present possible benefits, to those that are going to be so endowed. Ra Uru Hu on Projector Transformation: Part I When I first began my teachings it was obvious to me that because I understood the nature of the Projector that it would take along time to be able to develop the kinds of tools that I could offer immediately to Generators. Basically, the first seven to ten years that I worked in Human Design I focused almost exclusively on Generators. They are an essential part of the life force of this planet. If they can wake up it helps everything else wake up. Projector Transformation by Ra Uru Hu Ra Uru Hu on Projector Transformation: Part I When I first began my teachings, it was obvious to me that because, I understood the nature of the Projector, that it would take a long time to be able to, develop the kinds of tools that I could offer immediately to Generators. Basically, the first seven to ten years that, I worked in Human Design, I focused almost exclusively on Generators. They are an essential part of the life force of this planet. If they can wake up it helps everything else wake up. At the same time, over and over again as I went through, my process of introducing, Human Design and doing opening evening lectures, it was always so clear to me that I was short changing Projectors, because I didn’t have an easy fix for them. I didn’t have an easy fix for them at all. All Projectors know that. They know that strategy is an interesting concept. But it’s not as if it’s something that you taste all the time. There’s something that’s very difficult. What is difficult is that, The Human Design process is so deeply personal. It’s so deeply individual. It really is. And it’s very lonely, in that sense. You are alone with a very different way, of approaching the nature of being. That aloneness is something that can be very uncomfortable. And it can be uncomfortable in the sense of, “Where am I going? Am I in the right direction? Is this really working for me?” Of course, when you think about the nature of, The Generator or the energy type, that is not a dilemma. That is not a dilemma in the sense that, there is this constant potential to be able to deal with the nature of being through your strategy. But it’s not the case for a Projector. It’s not the case at all. You can be invited to enter into a certain career when you are young, and the invitation is correct. And if the response to the invitation is correct, then you enter into something that is correct for you. But it doesn’t mean that everything in that will be. It doesn’t mean that everyone you’re going to meet on that track will be. And it doesn’t mean that all of them will invite you to make up your mind about them, or about their impact on you. The fact of the matter is that being a Projector means, that you have an absolute drive within you to integrate with the other; it’s simply there. It’s not so much there in the sense that there is a neediness as there is an enormous curiosity. It’s really one of the deepest themes that operates through Projector, is this extraordinary curiosity. And it’s not a curiosity that is always, self-evident in the way in which their Personalities operate. It is a curiosity that is fundamentally a part of the way, their aura works. No other aura has this facility to penetrate to the self, or to the identity of the other. It is the Projector’s great gift, this dichotomy of being gifted in recognizing, and being here to be recognized. Yet, the difficulty, the dilemma from the beginning, from the moment that the Projector, comes out of the womb is the dilemma of the conditioning field. It’s absolutely essential to take in the conditioning, and it gets to a point where it’s very, very difficult, extremely difficult to be able to differentiate between, the not-self of what I am because, this is how I’ve been conditioned and the true self; it’s not easy.
